
Vegan Homemade Croutons

- 1 loaf (16 oz.) unsliced homemade-style white bread (day-old works best)
- 3 Tbsp. avocado oil
- 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 3/4 tsp. Himalayan pink salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
Optional
- 1 tsp. nutritional yeast
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In small bowl, combine all seasonings.
- Slice bread into 1-inch cubes and place in large mixing bowl. Drizzle bread cubes with avocado oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle on seasonings and toss again to fully distribute.
- On parchment-lined baking sheet, lay out bread cubes evenly and bake 24 minutes, tossing every 6 minutes or so.
- Once golden brown, remove from oven to cool completely.
- Transfer to airtight container and use for salads, soups and stuffing.
