Blend up creamy, dreamy nice cream with only two ingredients! Simply combine banana and oat milk for a healthy, homemade frozen treat. That’s it! The optional dark chocolate sauce adds a gourmet touch that makes it all a little extra. Either way you choose to “make nice”, you’ll be happily spooning up real food – not unpronounceable ingredients.

Two-Ingredient Banana Nice Cream with Dark Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

Nice cream

  • 4 cups sliced banana approx. 5 medium bananas
  • ¼ cup oat milk + additional 2 Tbsp. if needed

Chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Freeze sliced bananas overnight.
  2. In food processor or blender on low speed, pulse bananas and oat milk, using tamper to push down and combine.
  3. Portion into three serving bowls in 1-cup portions.
  4. Using double boiler method, melt chocolate and olive oil.
  5. Drizzle 2 Tbsp. chocolate sauce over each serving and serve immediately.

Notes:

  1. Freeze leftover nice cream.
  2. Refrigerate chocolate sauce or store at room temperature in sealed container.
  3. Banana and oat milk can be blended prior to being frozen, then portioned into servings and frozen overnight. Texture will be slightly different (more like ice milk) than the method above.
