Miso-Maple Caramel Sauce

Ingredients
- ¼ cup ghee or butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut sugar or brown sugar
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 1-½ Tbsp. miso sweet white
- Pinch kosher salt
- 2-3 drops vanilla extract
Instructions

In medium saucepan over medium heat, melt ghee or butter.

Whisk in sugar until it melts and mixture comes to boil, about 2 minutes.

Add maple syrup and continue to whisk 30 seconds.

Slowly whisk in heavy cream and bring to boil. Continue to whisk 2 minutes until thick enough to stick and coat back of spoon.

Remove from heat and whisk in miso, salt and vanilla.

Let cool 5 minutes.
