- 4 cups peeled and thinly sliced garnet yams (or sweet potatoes)
- 1 cup maple syrup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 2 tsp. pumpkin spice or cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. pink kosher salt

In large sauce pan or cast iron skillet, combine maple syrup, brown sugar, coconut oil, pumpkin spice and salt. Bring to a boil, then decrease heat to medium-low so it continues to bubble.
