Hit the road, Jack. And don’t you come back for more! When you nosh on the right food, your belly will feel the perfect amount of fullness. Take these protein-packed peanut butter bars, for instance. The combination of whey protein, oat flour and creamy peanut butter make overeating a thing of the past. The recipe calls for chocolate chips and shredded coconut, too, but feel free to spruce up your snack whichever way the wind takes you.

No-Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars

Ingredients

6 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
1/2 cup oat flour
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 Tbsp. coconut nectar
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 – 3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup shredded coconut

Directions

  1. Coat an 8” x 8” baking dish with non-sticking cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, adding chocolate chips and coconut flakes last. Stir until well combined. Add more almond milk, if needed, but mixture should be thick and firm.
  3. Spoon batter into prepared baking dish, using a spatula to smooth it out.
  4. Place in freezer until firm, about an hour. When ready to serve, let dish sit out for a minutes before cutting into it.
