Protein is one of three macronutrients the human body requires for life. (The other two are carbohydrates and fat.) Your cells use protein as fuel for muscle, blood, bone, skin and hair.

Consuming plant-based protein powders can be a great way to get clean and reliable protein nutrition. We like New Chapter’s new line of Plant Protein+ Fuel & Replenish™ powders. They’re organic, Non-GMO Project Verified and deliver a whopping 20 grams of plant protein per serving. Each flavor is formulated with whole-food seeds including chia, flax, hemp and pumpkin – plus a blend of protein-rich brown rice and mung bean for the right balance of amino acids that build complete protein for your body to use. It also has clinically studied digestive enzymes for better  absorption – no more protein bloat!

There are tons of ways to use protein powders, from mixing with water to making smoothies or protein pancakes. But today’s recipe uses protein powder to create a simple no-bake treat that tastes indulgent and satisfies your nutritional needs. Take them to work or the gym, or keep a stash at home for when hunger strikes.
