Healthy PB&J Sandwich with Cardamom Nut Butter & Blackberry-Chia Jam

Ingredients
- 1 cup blackberries
- 1 cup crunchy almond butter or peanut butter
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
- Gluten-free bread of choice
Instructions

To make jam: In medium saucepan over medium heat, bring blackberries and ¼ cup water to boil.

Stir in chia seeds, reduce heat to simmer and cook for approximately 15 minutes, stirring almost constantly, until mixture is very thick.

Remove from heat and let cool. (Note: Jam can be stored in airtight container for up to a week.)

To make nut butter: In bowl, stir together nut butter and cardamom.

Spread jam and nut butter on bread to make sandwich.
