Green Smoothie with Bee Pollen & Chia

Want to take your smoothie from good to great? Forget bananas or strawberries and give your beverage tropical flair with mango. Don’t stop there! Add coconut water for hydration, spinach for nutrients and sunflower seed butter for a bit of protein. But to make a super smoothie? You need superfood add-ins, like chia seeds and bee pollen. Both are loaded with vitamins and minerals to give your body super goodness.

Makes 1-2 cups

Ingredients

1 cup coconut water
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup spinach, loosely packed
1 Tbsp. sunflower seed butter
1 tsp. chia seeds
1 tsp. bee pollen
1 Tbsp. raw honey, optional, for sweetness

Directions

  1. In a blender, add coconut water. Add remaining ingredients and blend 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.
