Chocolate Brownie Quest Bar Squares

Corner-lovers, this one’s for you! Though brownies are typically baked to be soft and chewy, you prefer it if every bite had a certain crispy quality. At last, there’s an entire six-pack of mini-brownies speaking your language. No special baking pan required.

We know what you’re thinking: only six little squares? Each piece packs in 14 grams of protein, so you’ll be plenty full before you can even think about gorging on the half dozen.

High-Protein Brownies Recipe

Makes 6 mini-brownie squares

Macros per brownie (without the chocolate chips):
125 calories
14.2 g protein
11.4 g carbs
5.1 g fat
7.5 g fiber
1.2 g sugar

Ingredients

Chocolate Brownie Quest Bars
¼ cup almond meal flour
1 scoop Giant Sports Delicious Chocolate Shake Protein Powder
2 Tbsp. chocolate powdered peanut butter
2 Tbsp. xylitol
1 Tbsp. cacao powder
2 Tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup egg whites
Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line a mini loaf pan with foil and coat with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Microwave Quest bars for 12 seconds and then mold to the bottom of the loaf pan. Set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, add protein powder, almond meal flour, powdered peanut butter, xylitol and cacao powder. Stir together.
  4. Add egg whites and almond milk and stir until batter is well-combined. It will be thick and that is A-OK!
  5. Spoon batter into mini loaf pan on top of the Quest bar crust. Smooth and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top (if you’re using them) and bake for 28-32 minutes, or until the brownie batter is set.
  7. Let cool for one hour, slice into 6 even pieces and enjoy!
